Athletic Activities
Interscholastic sports (Grades 6 - 8)

The teams compete with area Christian Schools who are members of the Philadelphia Area Christian School Athletic Conference (PACSAC) Intramural sports (Grades 3 – 5)
• indoor soccer
• basketball
• wiffle ball

Academic Competitions Students participate in various co-curricular interscholastic academic competitions. They include Spelling Bees, Math Olympics, Speech Meets, Creative Writing and the Art Fair.

Performing Arts Activities
All students perform in the Annual Christmas Program. The Middle School Choir and band also perform throughout the year. In March there is the Annual Talent Extravaganza, where students may spotlight their God–given talents for the enjoyment of all.

Student Publications
The Middle School students produce the school yearbook, Beginnings.

Field Trips
Trips are an integral part of the co-curricular programming for each grade level. Trip destinations include places like the Franklin Institute, Historic Philadelphia, the Fire Station, the Please Touch Museum, the Natural History Museum, Valley Forge, Washington D.C. and many other places of educational interest.

Chapel/Assemblies
Chapel is held weekly. Speakers from the community are asked to speak throughout the year. Special Assemblies are given with various corporations and community organizations making presentations.

Before and After School Care
The early arrival program is available for students who arrive between 7:30 and 8:00 am. The After-school program is available from 3:30-5:30 pm for students who cannot be picked up prior to 3:30 pm. Both programs are available for an annual or per diem fee.

Academic Assistance
A specialist with the National Institute for the Learning Disabled is on staff at the school. Also, remedial tutoring is available in Math and Reading through Catapult Services provided for by the public school’s intermediate unit. Academic Assessments, Psychological assessments and Speech Therapy are also available through the intermediate unit.

Transportation
Students in grades 1 – 8 are eligible for transportation by the School District of Philadelphia, William Penn District, and the SE. Delco District, at no charge. The school works in cooperation with the bus company and the school district to make this service available.

Lunch Program
A lunch program is offered through Davenmark Inc. Menus are published and distributed monthly. Lunches can be purchased on a weekly basis.
